NPP challenge
[edit]Elinruby, they didn't actually challenge WP:N, nor could they, from an extension of WP:NPOLITICIAN. They challenged based on no references, and they're right. I added some top & bottom matter, so it looks more like an article, but it still needs refs. Ideally, we'll find one, good, reference, that lists them all, or a few that do. I've added some good references from one of the other drafts to the "Sources" section; one of them might have it. A couple of other things occurred to me: either a judicious use of {{Infobox government cabinet}}. That wouldn't work here, because it would just duplicate the entire article body in the Infobox pretty much, but it might be an alternative at Draft:Government of Vichy France. I also thought, what if there were a mini-Infobox, sort of like {{campaignbox}}, that was just for a small summary of a government cabinet, maybe Prime Minister, Secretary of State, Secretary of War, maybe one or two more max. We could stick one of those here, or in every section of the other Draft article. Mathglot (talk) 09:47, 23 July 2020 (UTC)
A mini box might be good. Elinruby (talk) 18:35, 23 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Elinruby:, Any plans for this? Normally drafts get deleted after six months per WP:G13. You originally spun it off from Government of Vichy France in this edit, and then it was Draftified within one minute (a bit hastily, if you ask me). If it's not notable enough for its own article, maybe we should just put it back into the main article where it came from. Mathglot (talk) 06:45, 12 July 2021 (UTC)
Sure, let's put it back. There is quite a bit of work in it as I recall and it's notable as an exploration of a model diplomacy voting itself out of existence. I was also interested in exactly who approved the youth and work camps Elinruby (talk) 06:50, 12 July 2021 (UTC)|
- Done. Restored the table from the draft to Government of Vichy France in this edit. @Elinruby:, as we no longer need the draft now, we should probably add {{db-g13}} to the top of the article ourselves so it gets deleted. The *only* thing I put back to the main article, was the table from this Draft. Since you're the principal author, it would be better if you added it. Before you do, though, just give the Draft a once-over to make sure there's nothing there you want to save, or just save the whole thing offline if you're not sure, before you place the db-g13. The *only* thing I put back to the main article, was the table from this Draft. Mathglot (talk) 17:07, 12 July 2021 (UTC)
Thanks, I will make sure I look at that today. Was up to my elbows in Liberation of France yesterday. At least got United Nations into the Aftermath section Elinruby (talk) 20:14, 12 July 2021 (UTC)
