Occupation entry
[edit]Not sure if it's OK to list "Former" titles as an occupation, however, he doesn't seem to still list GM on his Linkedin and his self-provided title is "EX CEO at Cruise".

- @Theyodj445 also, I'm not sure he should be listed as a NZ Banker? he's a New Zealander who's worked for American banks that at best have an incidental impact on NZ. Duncnbiscuit (talk) 23:15, 24 November 2024 (UTC)
COI disclosure
[edit]Hi all! I've been asked to work on this article by Fleishman Hilliard (a sister agency of my employer, Porter Novelli), for which GM is a client. I'm planning to do some cleanup to ensure the neutrality of this article and prepare it for a requested move back to mainspace. Typically I don't edit client articles directly, but since this is in draft it seems silly to go through the edit request process. Unless anyone here objects over the weekend, planning to dig into this project next week. But please do let me know if anyone would prefer me to request edits instead of editing directly.
I will, of course, itemize all the changes I've made when done, and I won't move the article into mainspace without community consensus. Thanks! Mary Gaulke (talk) 22:02, 25 September 2020 (UTC)
COI request to move back to mainspace
[edit]Hi! Again, COI editor for Cruise here. I've done some cleanup work on this draft; here's the diff of all my edits. These include:
- Removing
{{UPE}}
; hopefully the cleanup I've done warrants this (Please share your feedback!) - Removing a few extraneous parameters from infobox and adding birth year to infobox
- Adding parameters to several citations to flesh them out
- Adding refs in "Early life", "Investment banking", and "GM" sections
- Adding some detail on Ammann's involvement in GM's Chapter 11 reorganization, with citation
- Adding that Ammann managed GM's 2010 IPO, with citation
- Adding details and refs on Ammann's time as president of GM, with citations
- Adding Ammann's time on Lyft's board, with citations
@MER-C and Schwede66: Pinging both of you because you've previously been involved in working on this article. I would love your feedback on whether the current article draft meets Wikipedia's standards for neutrality and sourcing, and what else might need to be done for this article to be moved back to mainspace. Thank you so much for any time/feedback. Mary Gaulke (talk) 15:21, 21 October 2020 (UTC)
