William Scull Yero (born 6 June 1992) is a professional boxer born in Cuba and fighting out of Berlin, Germany. He is the current IBF super-middleweight champion.
Professional career
[edit]Scull turned pro in 2016 and won the first 22 fights of his career. By 2024, he was listed as the mandatory challenger for Canelo Alvarez's IBF's super middleweight belt.[1] However, Alvarez decided not to fight Scull and to relinquish the IBF belt instead. Scull was ordered to fight the #2 ranked contender Vladimir Shishkin for the IBF super-middleweight title.[2] The pair met at Stadthalle in Falkensee, Germany, on 19 October 2024 with Scull winning by unanimous decision.[3][4]
