Vinod Krishna[3][4][5] is an Indian writer who writes in Malayalam (born December 31,1975) in Patna, Bihar, to Sathidevi and Parambath Krishnan, both originally from Kozhikode district in Kerala. Vinod is also a short story writer who works in Malayalam literature and cinema. He is best known for his short stories and his debut movie, Elam, which won the best international film award at the Golden State International Film Festival in the Bayamon International Film Festival in Puerto Rico.[3][6]Vinod Krishna's novel 9 mm Beretta won the Cherukad Sahitya Award.[7] [8]

Poetry Installation

The poetry installation[9] [10] is his idea, and it was done in Kochi in 2015, 2016 and 2017, and in Trivandrum in 2018. Ranganath Ravee, [11] the award-winning Hollywood sound engineer who designed the audio visuals for this.

Filmography

  • Directed the movie ELAM.[12][13] Antony Thekkek and Kavitha Nair were in the lead. Song was composed by Ramesh Narayan and background score by Bijibal.
  • Directed the short movie Mayyankkalam, which screened at the Torrento activist film festival, the World Water Forum, Water & Film Event, Mexico, and the World Social Forum, Mumbai, in 2003.

Written a novel titles 9mm Beretta, won the TKC vaduthala award[14] and published anthology of short stories Kannusoothram [15] and Urumbu Desam.
