The Hero From Otherwhere is a young adult science fiction and fantasy novel by Jay Williams (author). The story is about two boys named Jesse Rosen and Rich Dennison and their adventures in Gwyliath.

Plot
[edit]The story focuses on two high school boys, Jesse Rosen and Rich Dennison from Brixton, Connecticut, Jesse and Rich were common enemies, one day they were sent to Mr. Haggarty’s office and he transferred them to the endangered planet of Gwyliath.
Cancelled Adaptation
[edit]In 1977, Disney tried to make a 2D animation/live action adaptation of the novel but it was scrapped later on. The movie did not give the team intriguing production problems for every category of animation along with the encounter with the inhabitants of their new world Gwyliath.
