Sohit Mishra was born in Thane, Maharashtra on 17th July 1993. Mishra pursued higher education in journalism at SK Somaiya College where he graduated with a degree in Mass Media and then he did his Masters in the same field from KC College Mumbai.

Sohit Mishra began his journalism career at NDTV in 2017. His reporting has covered a wide range of topics, including politics, social issues, human interest stories and ground reports.

1. *Ground Reporting*: Mishra is known for his ground reports. One of his notable works includes his coverage during the COVID wave where he walked with the migrants on road and he reported about the conditions of migrant labourers during COVID.
