Early Life
[edit]Roy Peretz was born in Tel Aviv, Israel. He pursued chemical engineering and successfully started Peretz Manufacturing, a chemical company that he established in 1988, he then ventured into the pawn industry in South Africa in 1999.
Career

[edit]Peretz entered the pawn industry by opening a small shop called LoanCorp between the years of 1999-2012, dealing in gold and silver.
Cash Inn
[edit]Over time, he expanded and eventually established Cash Inn in 2009, a larger pawn shop in Hyde Park, Johannesburg. Cash Inn specializes in high-value items, including diamonds, luxury watches, gold, and rare collectibles.
Pawn Stars
[edit]In April 2013, Cash Inn was featured on the History Channels "Pawn Stars South Africa" which aired for four years until they ended filming in 2017.
Podcast and Radio
[edit]Peretz had his own show "Roy and Friends" on Chai Fm and featured on the breakfast show as well as "Pawn stars unplugged" on Hot Fm.
Personal Life
[edit]An environmental enthusiast, Peretz is a member of the Riviera Aquatic Club and enjoys water sports. He regularly visits the Vaal River with his family
