Richie Moriarty is an American actor and comedian who has appeared in television shows including House of Cards, Orange Is the New Black, The Tick and Power.[1] He appeared in the 2019 Super Bowl ad with John Malkovich and Peyton Manning.[1][2] He currently stars as Pete Martino in the CBS comedy series Ghosts.[3][4][5]

Early life and education

When Moriarty was five, he moved to Rockville, Maryland, where he attended Wootton High School.[3]

He is a graduate of Boston College,[2] where he got into improv and took classes at ImprovBoston.[3]

Career

Moriarty had a recurring role on the show The Tick.[1] He has also starred in Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.[6]

He has appeared in films such as How to be Single and Going in Style.

He has co-hosted a show on Comedy Central called Cinema Social Club.[7]

He currently stars in the CBS series Ghosts, which is a remake of the BBC series of the same name.[8][9][10][11] He portrays Pinecone Troop leader Peter Martino, who was accidentally shot through the neck with an arrow by one of his troop.[12][13]

Personal life

He is married to Ciara Moriarty, and they have two children. He also has a sister named Colleen.[2] He currently lives in Maplewood, New Jersey.
