Nora Jacobson is an American filmmaker.
Early life and education
[edit]Jacobson was born in Norwich, Vermont. She spent eight years of her childhood in Paris.[1] She graduated from Dartmouth College and then received an MFA from the school of the Chicago Art Institute.[1]
Career
[edit]She was a professor of film in New York.[1] She is the founder of Vermont Unity TV, a film contest for young filmmakers.[1]
Awards and honors
[edit]Her film Delivered Vacant won a Golden Gate award at the San Francisco Film Festival.[citation needed] In 2016, Jacobson received the Herb Lockwood Prize, an annual award of Burlington City Arts.[2]
