Mudhal Paadal (transl. First song) is a 1993 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by Arul Krishnan and starring newcomers Madhu and Monushri.[1] The film was released on 19 February 1993.

Reception
[edit]A critic from The Indian Express wrote that "the film has a truly revolutionary subject no doubt has been treated rather simplistically. But in the treatment of the rest of the film, the director has shown promise".[2]
