Mia Healey is an Australian actress and model. She played Shelby Goodkind on two series of Prime Video series The Wilds.

Early life

She was born in Sydney.[1] She attended the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney, graduating in 2017 with a Diploma of Stage and Screen Performance.[2][3][4]

Career

She was given a lead role as Shelby Goodkind in Amazon Prime Video survivalist drama The Wilds in 2018.[5][6] In two series of The Wilds she played a secretive beauty pageant queen from Texas.[7][8][9] She has also appeared in short films Shark, My Heart Calls For You, and The Stray.[10] She also appeared in feature film Black Spartans.

In 2023, she was cast in a recurring role in coming-of-age drama Motorheads for Amazon Prime Video.[11] In 2024, she was cast in a lead role in the film The Monster alongside Djimon Hounsou.[12]

As well as working as an actress she has worked as a model.[13][2][14] Her clients have included Bulgari,[3][4] Dior,[15] and fashion label Aje.[16]

Personal life

She has described Cate Blanchett as her acting "hero".[17] As of January 2024, she has been in a relationship with fellow actor Michael Gandolfini.[18] She identifies as Bisexual[19]
