Locked is an upcoming thriller film directed by David Yarovesky and starring Anthony Hopkins and Bill Skarsgard. It is an English-language remake of the Argentinian 2019 action film 4x4.

A young thief becomes ensnared in a trap after conducting a seemingly routine robbery.[1]

The film is a remake of the Argentinian action thriller 4X4 for ZQ Entertainment and Raimi Productions with David Yarovesky as director and Ara Keshishian and Petr Jákl producing under their ZQ Entertainment banner, with Sam Raimi and Zainab Azizi producing for Raimi Productions. In February 2023, Anthony Hopkins and Glen Powell were attached to the project in acting roles.[2] Later, Bill Skarsgard became attached to the film.[3]

Principal photography took place in Vancouver in late 2023.[4]

Release

The film was showned to accredited buyers in the Industry Selects program at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival on September 6, 2024.[5][6]
