The village is located approximately 22 kilometers from Nandalur, making it a central point for nearby villages such as Pothapi,[2] Balajipally, Chintakayalapalli,[3] and Tangatur. Kumpinipuram[4] is known for its cultural and religious significance, with two prominent temples that serve as spiritual centers for the local community.
