Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum is a 2024 Pakistani romantic drama television series, produced by Fahad Mustafa and Ali Kazmi under the banner of Big Bang Entertainment, and directed by Baddar Memhomd, The series follows the story of Mustafa, a hacker from a middle-class family who aspires to become a successful businessman, and Sharjeena, a biophile engaged to his brother Abdul. Circumstances bring Mustafa and Sharjeena together, forcing them to face various trials. The series has become the highest-rated program on Pakistani television, receiving critical acclaim and becoming a huge hit across South Asia.[1][2][3] The series marks the return of Fahad Mustafa to television after ten years. [4][5] It was announced that the final episode would be turned into a movie due to its popularity.[6][7][8][9]

Plot

Mustafa came from a middle-class family, and his pride was his brother, Abdul, who was financially stable and favored by their father. Meanwhile, Mustafa was a hacker who had dreams of owning his own company. His life took a turn when he met Sharjeena, the eldest daughter of a prominent family, who happened to be engaged to his brother Although Sharjeena had a difficult relationship with Abdul over issues, she began to like Mustafa, which prompted her to fall in love with him.

However, a family crisis unfolded when Abdul had an affair with his boss, Rulaab. To protect their families for their reputation, Mustafa ended up marrying Sharjeena. When Rulaab stole money, the blame fell on Musfata, and their father took a stand for Abdul. As a result, Mustafa and Sharjeena decide to leave their home and move into a cramped apartment and face trials and tribulations As Musfasta worked hard, he founded the company.Abdul married Rulaab, He cheated on her with her best friend, Natasha, and embezzled money from the company before Rulaab exposed him at his birthday party, leading to his arrest by the police She kicked out her in-laws Shortly after Mustafa learns from their sister Waris that their family home was sold by Abdul before his marriage to Rulaab, Sharjeena miscarried her first child with Mustafa caused breakdown of marriage.

The series received positive feedback from fans and critics, and the chemistry between Mustafa and Aamir was particularly praised. The series has gained a following among Indian fans.[19][20][21][22][23]

Controversy

Safdar Ali Soomro, an artist from Ghotki, filed a notice against the creators of a series after discovering that his lost paintings were featured in the show. He had submitted these works to the Frere Hall gallery in 2017, along with pieces from other artists, but they went missing. Soomro has also filed a lawsuit against Frere Hall and the makers had supported an investigation by the government on Frere Hall.[24][25][26]
