Jailin Walker is an American football linebacker for the Indiana Hoosiers. He previously played for the James Madison Dukes.
Early life and high school
[edit]Walker attended Varina High School located in Henrico County, Virginia. Coming out of high school, Walker was unranked, where he decided to commit to play college football for the James Madison Dukes.[1][2]
College career

[edit]During Walker's three-year career at James Madison from 2021 through 2023, Walker appeared in 32 games with 20 starts, where he notched 142 tackles with eight and a half being for a loss, three and a half sacks, six pass deflections, three interceptions, four forced fumbles, and two touchdowns, while also being named an honorable mention all Sun-Belt selection twice in 2022 and 2023.[3][4][5][6] After the conclusion of the 2023 season, Walker decided to enter his name into the NCAA transfer portal.[7][8]
Indiana
[edit]Walker decided to transfer to play for the Indiana Hoosiers.[9][10] Heading into the 2024 season, Walker entered the season as a starting linebacker for the Hoosiers.[11][12] In week three of the 2024 season, Walker notched seven tackles with one being for a loss, as he helped the Hoosiers to a win over the UCLA Bruins.[13]
