Jack Bech (born February 18, 2002)[1] is an American football wide receiver for the TCU Horned Frogs. He previously played for the LSU Tigers.

Early life and high school

Bech attended St. Thomas More High School located in Lafayette, Louisiana. Coming out of high school, Bech was rated as a four-star recruit, where he held offers from schools such as LSU, Mississippi State, Notre Dame, Texas, TCU, and Vanderbilt.[2][3] Initially, Bech committed to play college football for the Vanderbilt Commodores before flipping to the LSU Tigers.[4][5][6]

College career

During Bech's first collegiate season in 2021, he played in all 13 games for the Tigers while making seven starts, where he notched 43 receptions for 489 yards and three touchdowns.[7] In week four of the 2022 season, Bech hauled in six receptions for 43 yards in a win over New Mexico.[8] In the 2022 season, he had in 16 receptions for 200 yards and a touchdown.[9] After the conclusion of the 2022 season, Bech decided to enter his name into the NCAA transfer portal.[10][11]

TCU

Bech decided to transfer to play for the TCU Horned Frogs.[12][13] During Bech's first season with the Horned Frogs in 2023 he played in eight games, notching 12 receptions for 146 yards.[14]
