Fiorenzo Manganiello (born Avellino, Italy) is an Italian entrepreneur, financier, and academic specializing in venture capital and blockchain technologies. He is a co-founder of the LIAN Group, a European venture capital firm, and the LIAN Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting technology and art initiatives. He also co-founded the blockchain infrastructure companies Cowa and PolarDC.[1]

In 2018, Manganiello co-founded the LIAN Group, a venture capital firm that invests in digital infrastructure and artificial intelligence technologies.[2][3][4]

Cowa and PolarDC

In 2022, Manganiello co-founded Cowa, a company focused on addressing environmental concerns in cryptocurrency mining by utilizing renewable energy sources.[5] He also co-founded PolarDC, a data center firm specializing in high-performance computing, which secured €500 million in funding for expansion. In 2024, H.I.G. Capital acquired a majority stake in PolarDC, reflecting its growth in the data center industry.[6]
