If you need help with referencing, please see Referencing for beginners and Citing sources. This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies. Declined by CurryTime7-24 16 months ago. |

- Comment: Remove the sources from Discogs, Genius, Spotify, and Indie Rock Guru. And replace them with more reliable sources. After that, I'll accept it. Tavantius (talk) 15:32, 12 October 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: The sources section lights up like a Christmas tree because of the unreliability of the cited sources. Johannes (Talk) (Contribs) (Articles) 18:01, 11 February 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: Sources [5] and [12] definitely need to be removed before being accepted: the latter is a deprecated source! Discography is entirely unsourced. Mattdaviesfsic (talk) 20:27, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: YouTube, Instagram, Discogs and Facebook are not reliable and need to be replaced. Theroadislong (talk) 13:47, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
- Comment: there are zero reliable independent sources here see WP:RS Theroadislong (talk) 16:21, 5 November 2022 (UTC)

History and motivation
[edit]Since their formation in 2016, the band has been tackling mental health issues through their music. They have made it their mission to fight stigma and provide a "group therapy dynamic."[1][5][6][7][4]
The band's name Citizen Soldier is the band's attempt to personify the struggles being fought within, and the band's goal to shine a light on the everyday struggles of those who feel overlooked and unappreciated.[8][9][10][11]
In 2017, after a few singles, the band initially released just one EP[8][12][13] before releasing their first album, Relentless, in 2019. The next album Down the Rabbit Hole was already released in 2020[14], followed by the two-part album This Is Your Sign Part I in 2021 and This Is Your Sign Part II in 2022.[15]
In May 2022, Citizen Soldier announced their fifth album, Scarecrow, with another 18 songs. The complete album was released on 14.12.2022.[16][17][18]
Since 2020, the band has also distinguished itself primarily through the continuous release of new music.[19] Therefore, the band released the songs of new albums as singles first before being released collectively as an album.[20][21]
In 2023 they accompanied the band Smash Into Pieces on their tour through North America and Canada.[22] Together they recorded an acoustic version of the song Six Feet Under from Smash Into Pieces.[23][7]
