Patlejch competed in the racing car class in the MTX 1107.[2] It was a Formula 3 Lucia car modified by Václav Pauer, while the bodywork made of laminates was made by Patlejch and was similar to the Formula Škoda cars. The driver won two races in 1973 and won the championship. From 1974, he used the MTX 1-02. That year, the driver won one Cup of Peace and Friendship race, and also took third place in the final national classification of the Formula Easter.[3] In the 1975 season, he took seventh place in the Cup of Peace and Friendship, and a year later sixth.[4][5] In the 1977 season he built the Delta 1 car. After 1977 he gave up racing and took up work at Metalex, a Czech automobile company that is known for producing formula vehicles and parts.
