The 21st Grand Prince's Wife[1] (Korean: 21세기 대군 부인) is an upcoming South Korean romance drama television series starring IU and Byeon Woo-seok. It is scheduled to premiere on MBC TV in the second half of 2025.
Synopsis
[edit]21st Century Grand Prince's Wife is set in a fictional Republic of Korea where a constitutional monarchy is in effect in the 21st century, and depicts the romance between Seong Hee-joo, the daughter of the number one conglomerate but a commoner, and Prince Lee Ahn, a man who cannot have anything because he is the son of a king.

- The 21st century constitutional monarchy of the Republic of Korea. Born as the second son of a king, he is destined to have nothing but his status as royalty, and his change begins when he meets Hee-joo, who has always kept himself a secret.
Production

[edit]The 21st Grand Prince's Wife is planned by Kang Dae-sun and written by Yoo Ah-in. It is the winning work of an MBC drama script contest, and MBC and Kakao Entertainment will be in charge of production.[2]
Casting
[edit]Kakao Entertainment announced on December 2, 2024, that IU and Byeon Woo-seok had been confirmed to appear.[2]
Release
[edit]The 21st Grand Prince's Wife is scheduled to premiere on MBC TV in the second half of 2025.[2]
