Ciorești is a commune in Nisporeni District, Moldova. It is composed of two villages—Ciorești and Vulcănești.[3]

Vulcănești has a Romani-majority population.[4] The 2006 Russian comedy film Rabbit Over the Void is partly set in the village.[citation needed]
