Category:Television series by Disney–ABC Domestic Television, Category:Television series by Disney, and Category:Television series by ABC Studios, must move all shows and Subcategories as Category:Television series by Disney ABC — Preceding unsigned comment added by 47.54.210.203 (talk) 10:13, 21 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Because, Disney owns those shows, listing them in that category means that All of Disney's programs (including the Non-Disney branded ones (ABC Studios, Saban, etc)) can be listed in the new category. 47.54.189.22 (talk) 11:58, 12 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
This is about who produced the shows originally, not who owns them now. You seem to want to remove any info about the production companies because you only care about the current owner, for some reason. Trivialist (talk) 15:13, 12 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I want the production company categorys merged into the parent companies because i want the parent category to have shows made by them, and have the the name of the distributor is the title, and will not be Television series by company anymore. 47.54.189.22 (talk) 18:33, 12 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
But they were originally produced by different companies. Since the production companies actually made the shows, they're more important than whoever happens to own the rights now. Trivialist (talk) 01:18, 20 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
No there are not, check current prints of the shows mede by them, and thair gets plastered by the logo of the current owner, what i talked about on the talk page for the television series by studio category, is to turn it into a category tree for distributors, heres how it will work, 1. Rename Television series by studio category's to have the name of the distributor, 2. Renane the TV series by studio category to Television series by company, 3. Upmerge all production company categories to the distributor category. 47.54.189.22 (talk) 12:15, 20 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
←ABC Studios is not folded into any one, it is operational. As is Disney–ABC Domestic Television (DADT). DADT is the syndication unit, so any Cat:TV series by DADT (post CC/ABC-Disney merger) would be first run syndicated shows by Disney. Both of these categories can be under another Disney category. Thing are a bit more nuance then you want them to be. DADT then distributes show by ABC Studios the second run market that doesn't make those show made by DADT. DADT is just distributing them for another active Disney-ABC unit, which why the DADT logo is added. Spshu (talk) 13:04, 22 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
No one should feel that strongly about television production and distribution companies. Also, you seem to be the only editor who wants this to happen, so it's very unlikely to happen. Sorry. Trivialist (talk) 00:34, 27 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
