[edit]Most members of this category are referendums on external sovereignty, i.e. "sovereignty" in terms of international law. However, the articles Australian republic referendum, 1999 and Vincentian constitutional referendum, 2009 are about internal sovereignty, i.e. the head of state. These are very different topics. I propose to change the category name to "Referendums on national sovereignty" and remove from it the articles referring to internal sovereignty.
