More specific title
[edit]Should the category title perhaps be a little more specific somehow? "Songs based on actual events" could potentially be a very long list if events in the personal lives of the songwriters are included. I suppose we could add the word "notable", but that would be a bit sad. Any thoughts? Contains Mild Peril (talk) 18:46, 22 November 2009 (UTC)
Rasputin
[edit]I'm not sure how to edit these pages, but Rasputin by Boney M. could be included in this list. 10:27 AM, 11/29/2015
August 7 4:15
[edit]August 7 4:15 by Jon Bon Jovie should be here. It's based on the unsolved murder of Katherine Korzilius. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bbonds775 (talk • contribs) 20:42, 7 October 2024 (UTC)
- @Bbonds775: Hi. Thank you for the comment. This can be done! August 7, 4:15 is a redirect to the album article Destination Anywhere (Jon Bon Jovi album). It might be more appropriate in the subcategory Category:Songs inspired by deaths.
- You can categorize it by editing the actual redirect page, linked here → August 7, 4:15. Add
Category:Songs inspired by deaths
at the bottom, just below{{R with history}}}}
. The entire content should then look like this:#REDIRECT [[Destination Anywhere (Jon Bon Jovi album)]]
{{R shell|
{{R from song|}}
{{R with history}}}}
[[Category:Songs inspired by deaths]]
- Click publish and the title will automatically appear in the category in italics, indicating it's a redirect.
