This category is for autistic people who were diagnosed or self-diagnosed with the former diagnosis Asperger syndrome. Wider category Category:Autistic people can also be used for people who received this diagnosis, particularly if they identify as autistic rather than as having Asperger syndrome e.g. Chloé Hayden. The autistic people category can also be used for people diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder or pervasive developmental disorder, or self-diagnosed as autistic.
