Hand History

[edit]

One hand at the middle of the final table sees an example of a hand inwhich Arends (holding 6 4 vs. A 8) plays aggressively preflop calling a raise (UTG) (2x) in the big blind and then keeping his aggressive approach during the hand.

The hand unfolds with a flop bet from his opponent and subsequently a check-raise 3 times the opponents bet from Arends - as Arends, although holding one of the weakest starting hands, plays it out in a way that he could have had Ax Ax.[17]

Style

[edit]

Arends makes the game seem easy as he is accomplished in making custom made poker functions - and poker matrixes - to simplify (advanced) strategy.[citation needed]
