Atia Chade Boggs (born 1987), known professionally as INK, is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist, and record producer.[1] She has been credited on singles and albums for Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, Monica, and Beyoncé, among others.[2][3]
Musical beginnings
[edit]Boggs, self-taught in guitar, began performing in and around the Buckhead area of Atlanta without any musical industry connections.[2] Inspired by The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, Boggs began to focus on songwriting and formally breaking into the music industry, becoming an early mentee of writer James Fauntleroy through social media platform Facebook in the late 00s.[1]
