Shuta Tonosaki (外崎 修汰, Tonosaki Shūta, born December 20, 1992 in Hirosaki, Aomori, Japan), nicknamed "Apple Punch",[1] is a Japanese professional baseball infielder for the Saitama Seibu Lions of Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB).

He was selected 2018 NPB All-Star game [jp].[2]

Tonosaki was also named an All–Star in 2023.[citation needed]

International career

Tonosaki represented the Japan national baseball team in the 2017 Asia Professional Baseball Championship, 2018 MLB Japan All-Star Series and 2019 WBSC Premier12.

On October 10, 2018, he was selected Japan national baseball team at the 2018 MLB Japan All-Star Series.[3]

On October 1, 2019, he was selected at the 2019 WBSC Premier12.[4]
