Andrey Ivanovich Denisov (Russian: Андре́й Ива́нович Дени́сов; born October 3, 1952) is a Russian diplomat, who served as the Russian Ambassador to China from April 22, 2013 to September 13, 2022. He is fluent in Chinese, as well as English, apart from his native language.

Sanctions

Sanctioned by Canada under the Special Economic Measures Act (S.C. 1992, c. 17) in relation to the Russian invasion of Ukraine for Grave Breach of International Peace and Security.[6] and in December 2022 the EU sanctioned Andrey Denisov in relation to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.[7]
