The Bharatiya Vayuyan Adhiniyam, 2024 is an Act of the Parliament of India. This Act provides for regulation and control of the design, manufacture, maintenance, possession, use, operation, sale, export and import of aircraft and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.[1][2][3]
This Act replaced the Aircraft Act, 1934.

[edit]- On 31 July 2024, the Bharatiya Vayuyan Vidheyak, 2024, was introduced in Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Parliament of India.[4]
- On 9 August 2024, the Bharatiya Vayuyan Vidheyak, 2024, was passed by Lok Sabha.
- On 5 December 2024, the Bharatiya Vayuyan Vidheyak, 2024 was introduced in Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Parliament of India.[5]
- On 5 December 2024, the Bharatiya Vayuyan Vidheyak, 2024 was passed by Rajya Sabha making it the Bharatiya Vayuyan Adhiniyam, 2024.[5]
