The 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup will be the 20th edition of the FIFA U-17 World Cup, the biennial international men's youth football championship contested by the under-17 national teams of the member associations of FIFA, since its inception in 1985 as the FIFA World Youth Championship. It will be held in Qatar.

From 2025 the tournament will take place annually and will have 48 participating teams divided into four 'mini-tournaments' of 12 teams. Each mini-tournament is divided into three groups of four, with the winners and the best runners-up qualified to a four-team knockout stage. The winners of each of these mini-tournaments would qualify to a 'final four' tournament with two semi-finals, a third place match and a final to decide the U-17 world champions. Qatar was announced as host on 14 March 2024.[1]

Germany are the defending champions, having won their first title in 2023. Fiji will make their debut in this cup.

This edition celebrates the 40th anniversary of the FIFA U-17 World Cup franchise.
