The 2024–25 North Texas Mean Green men's basketball team represents the University of North Texas during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team is led by second-year head coach Ross Hodge, and play their home games at UNT Coliseum in Denton, Texas as second-year members of the American Athletic Conference (AAC).

Previous season

The Mean Green finished the 2023–24 season 19–15, 10–8 in AAC play, to finish in seventh place. They defeated Tulane in the first round of the AAC tournament[1] before losing to Florida Atlantic in the quarterfinals.[2] They received an at-large bid to the National Invitation Tournament. They defeated LSU in the first round[3] before losing in the second round to Seton Hall.[4]
