The 2023–24 Georgia Lady Bulldogs basketball team represented the University of Georgia during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Lady Bulldogs, were led by second-year head coach Katie Abrahamson-Henderson and played their home games at Stegeman Coliseum as members of the Southeastern Conference (SEC).[1]
Previous season
[edit]The Lady Bulldogs finished the 2022–23 season 22–12, 9–7 in SEC play, to finish in three-way tie for fifth place.[2] They defeated Auburn in the second round of the SEC tournament,[3] before falling to LSU in the semifinals.[4] They received an at-large bid into the NCAA tournament, receiving the #10 seed in the Seattle Regional 4.[5] They upset #7 region seed Florida State in the first round,[6] before falling to #2 region seed and eventual tournament runner-up Iowa in the second round.[7]
