The 2020–21 season is Bashundhara Kings's 8th season as a football club since its creation in 2013, and its 3rd consecutive season in the top-flight.[3][4] In addition to domestic league, Bashundhara participated on this season's edition of Federation Cup and AFC Cup.[5] The season covered the period from December 2020 to September 2021, with the late ending to the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Bangladesh.[6]
