The 1974 NBA All-Star Game was an exhibition basketball game that was played on January 15, 1974, at the Seattle Center Coliseum in Seattle . The MVP of the game was Bob Lanier , who scored 24 points.
Coaches: East: Tom Heinsohn , West: Larry Costello .
Tom Heinsohn was selected as the East head coach. Tom Heinsohn , head coach of the Boston Celtics , qualified as the head coach of the Eastern All-Stars. Larry Costello , head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks , qualified as the head coach of the Western All-Stars.
