Gökçeada, formerly known as Çınarlı and historically Panagia,[1] is a town and the administrative seat of the Gökçeada District, Çanakkale Province, Turkey.[2] The town had a population of 7,479 in 2022.[3] It is located on the northeastern side of the island of Imbros.

Climate

Gökçeada has a hot-summer Mediterranean climate (Köppen: Csa),[4] with hot, dry summers, and cool, rainy winters.
